Will my chenille bedspread ever stop shedding?

I bought a fairly heavy-weight chenille bedspread that I just adore. I knew it would shed some, but it is really getting everywhere. EVERYWHERE. I've washed it a couple of times, and also toss it in the dryer on air fluff for an hour or so a week. This always removes a lot of lint, but it just seems never-ending. I don't remember the ones I had as a kid shedding like this. It is 100% cotton. Any suggestions?

I have one too. Mine is still shedding and I've had it over a year, but it is starting to shed *less*! The first 5 or so washes were the worst, and I had to empty the lint trap a couple of times during a normal drying cycle. Now it is just barely filling the lint trap when I wash it by itself, but I still get the little fuzzies that stick to my pant legs when I brush against it.

   When searching for kids bedding it is hard to find anything of great quality. When I go searching for different types of bedding with my kids I have a tough time finding things to go with the rest of our contemporary style home. And the things that I am able to find our all of such low quality.
