I need advice on how to make a tag blanket baby care?

I was thinking of cutting 2 "X 3" rectangle colored fabric using pinking shears, write instructions for their care, with a permanent marker and sewing the rectangle with the support of the quilt (before it is sewn into the top of the quilt, so that the cable not shown) with a zig-zag. Does that work?

To make it easier to write on fabric, iron the fabric to small freezer paper. Believe me, it makes a big difference. Use a fabric marker and special iron before sewing the quilt. To be safe, you may want to try and wash before sewing quilt, just to be sure that the label does not disappear when you wash. The zig-zag stitch might work, but is not as hard to bend the edges (of iron in the crease to make it easier), and the stitching on the back of the quilt. You can make any size you want. In fact, I cut the fabric more great that I think has to write all the information you want on it, then cut to size. There are things you can include on the label: Your name and location, date occasional news about the baby's birth (date, weight, length), and the names of the parents. If the name of the quilt, include this information. If There is an interesting story behind the quilt, write. As for the "care" directions, not bother to tie the quilt. Just print care and cleaning instructions and included in the gift box.
