Work Quilt
Keepsake Quilting is one of the most popular reasons people begin to learn the trade. Perhaps a daughter gets married, or a first grandchild is on the road. Both marriages and births are popular times to give a memory quilt. But where to start if you're new to quilting together?
There are many sources to help beginners to come into quilting memory. Check your local library books. Another great source is the Internet. Look for quilting clubs quilting demonstrations offered online to a little help.
Perhaps the best way to start Remember that your quilting project is to select the design you want to use. The "double wedding ring pattern" is very popular for weddings and anniversaries. Quilts are simple and easy to make for babies. Other popular memory quilts for babies and children are "bonnet Sue" and "General Sam" designs.
If you make your quilt first, may not be aware of the difficulty level models are looking through. Do not worry. You will be happier with the results, if you complete the quilt of your choice, if you set something strictly for rookie status.
